Fundamentals of Museum Volunteer Programs
Workshop held September 2-26, 2008.  Class is designed to teach the basics of a strong volunteer program.  Topics include recruiting, training, and rewarding volunteers, as well as preparing staff.    

Seminar for Historical Administration
SHA is a three-week program, sponsored by AASLH, held in Indianapolis, IN, November 1-22, 2008.  

AASLH Professional Development Workshops
For over half a century AASLH has offered high-quality professional development workshops. National Park Service (online)
A self-paced, distance learning course on Ethnography and African American Heritage designed for cultural resource managers, historic preservationists, interpreters, etc. Geared toward NPS staff, professionals and members of the general public are invited to participate.

The University of Victoria (online)
Several continuing education distance learning courses are offered throughout the year on cultural resource management and heritage topics.  
 
Solinet (online)
SOLINET is a membership organization serving the Southeast as a partner in creating a future where all libraries are valued assets of their communities and cornerstones of the world’s information infrastructure. Both online and classroom workshops are offered.
